GroutGuard Alkaline Grout Cleaner is a professional strength, ready to use grout preparation cleaner designed to break down embedded dirt, oils, grease, and stubborn buildup from grout lines.

Unlike acid based grout cleaners, this is an alkaline cleaner NOT an acid cleaner. It is safe for use on grout and surrounding ceramic tile, porcelain tile, and natural stone when used as directed. Always test in a small, inconspicuous area first.

This cleaner is specially designed to prepare grout before applying GroutGuard Color Sealer. Proper cleaning is one of the most important steps in helping the color sealer bond properly to the grout.

Important: This is a deep cleaning preparation product and is not intended for routine floor maintenance. Does not remove waxes or soap scum. After color sealing, maintain your grout with a pH-neutral cleaner to help protect the color sealer and extend its longevity.

Directions

1. Sweep or vacuum loose dirt and debris from the tile and grout.
2. Apply the cleaner directly to the grout. No dilution is needed.
3. Allow the product to dwell for 2–5 minutes. Do not allow it to dry on the surface.
4. Scrub the grout thoroughly with a nylon grout brush.
5. Rinse thoroughly with clean water using a mop or wet vacuum .
6. Allow the grout to dry completely before applying color sealer.

For color sealing: Grout must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed, and completely dry before applying GroutGuard Color Sealer.

Caution: Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. Use in a well ventilated area. Wear protective gloves and eye protection.
Do not mix with other cleaning products.
