 Note on Coverage: 

A single 8oz bottle generally covers up to 400square feet of standard 12"x12 tiles.

• Color Accuracy: Actual colors may vary based on your monitor settings and the unique lighting in your home (such as natural sunlight vs. warm indoor bulbs). We always recommend testing a small, hidden area first to ensure the shade is perfect for your space.
• Color Transitions: While one coat is usually enough, transitioning from a dark grout to a lighter color may require a second coat to achieve full coverage and a uniform, professional finish.

Preparation and Application Steps:

•Clean & Prep: Ensure the grout is thoroughly cleaned and fully dry.

•Grout must be free from paint, wax, sealers, grease or other contaminants before application. Cleaner grout helps ensure longer lasting results.

•Apply: Shake the bottle well. Apply a narrow bead of the sealer directly onto the grout joint.

•Spread: Use GroutGuard sealer applicator or a toothbrush, soft brush to scrub sealer into the joint for even coverage.

•Remove Excess: While still wet, wipe off excess sealer from the surrounding tile using a dry terry cloth towel.

•Drying and Second Coat If Needed: Allow the sealer to set for 30 minutes to an hour. A second coat may be applied after 30 minutes for better durability.

•Coverage: Work in small, manageable sections to prevent the sealer from drying on the tile.

•Light Traffic: The surface can handle light traffic after 3 to 4 hours.

Curing: Keep the area dry for 2 days for maximum protection.
